Stig Roar Myrseth (born 22 November 1972) is a Norwegian financial expert who won the stock picking contest "Børsspeilet" in the magazine Økonomisk Rapport for eight years in a row from 2003 to 2010. On New Year's Eve 2010/2011 Finansavisen, a leading Norwegian financial newspaper, declared Stig Myrseth as Norway's best stock picker in a front page story.

Stig R. Myrseth was born in Harstad, Norway. In 1991 he won a silver medal in the International Chemistry Olympiad in Lodz. After finishing secondary school in Harstad in 1991 with the best exam results of all students that year, he started studying chemistry at the University of Tromsø. However in March 1992 he left University and started working as a financial analyst trainee.
During his 19 years in the financial sector he started several companies in the financial sector. He established the full service investment banking firm Orion Securities in Norway in 1999, worked for Terra Markets and recently established Dovre Forvaltning (Lithuania, 2011).
